Here’s a pic I took a couple of weeks ago on my way to the summit of Mt. Taranaki (2518m high volcano), New Zealand. This is the Tahurangi site (known as The Translator) at North Egmont. I believe it’s owned and/or serviced by Kordia Limited. An important comms link because its the only site high enough to service the Taranaki Region and provide links from the central North
Island to Wellington. In the distance you can see the sun about to rise over Mt Ruapehu, and Ngauruhoe, which are a approx 150 kms away in the central north island. Wouldn’t it be great working on this site! Below is the view from a bit higher up. More pictures are available on
